Tazacorte is much more than sun and sea. Its identity has been forged over centuries among sugar cane fields, banana plantations, and the force of the Atlantic<\/strong>. <\/p>

Tazacorte’s main festival and one of the most unique traditions in the Canary Islands.<\/p>

During the Festivities of San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel<\/strong>, dancers, dressed in white and covered by little cane horses decorated with colored papers, parade through the streets to the rhythm of the popular \u201cFly, fly, little dove<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>

The sound of the band, the lights, the fireworks, and the excitement of the public create a magical atmosphere that attracts hundreds of visitors every year.

Every summer, the Port of Tazacorte<\/strong> is adorned with flowers, nets, and flags to honor the patron saint of fishermen. After the mass in the Carmen church, the image is carried in procession to the dock, where it embarks amidst songs, applause, and sirens sounding from the boats. <\/p>

The sea fills with decorated boats that accompany the Virgin on her journey along the coast.<\/p>

It is one of the most exciting moments of the festive calendar, uniting faith, tradition, and the town’s deep connection with the ocean.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Port becomes a stage for live music, parades, and performances throughout the day, while the public, locals and visitors alike, celebrate with laughter, dancing, and foam baths. <\/p>

Tazacorte, a stage for culture and diversity<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The most prominent is the Isla Bonita Love Festival<\/strong>, which turns the port into a large stage for diversity, tolerance, and great musical performances<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Added to this are the Summer Fest<\/strong>, with open-air concerts in the middle of summer; the Festival de Cortos Tazacortos<\/strong>, dedicated to local and independent cinema; and the Cultural Days of San Miguel<\/strong>, with exhibitions, music, and activities around the heritage of the municipality.<\/p>\n

Also noteworthy are island-wide events such as the La Palma Crafts Fair<\/strong>, the Open Air Music and Theater Shows<\/strong>, and the Nights in the Plaza<\/strong>, where art and gastronomy come together under the stars.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, the City Council and local associations also promote cultural activities, workshops, and exhibitions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
