The PR LP-01 Trail is one of the oldest historical paths on La Palma. It was the route that connected the east and west of the island before the modern road network, and for centuries it served to transport goods between Santa Cruz and the Port of Tazacorte.
Today, walking it is to delve into the living history of the archipelago: stone walls, old cultivation terraces, banana plantations, rural houses, and views that change with each step.
In its final stretch, it crosses the historic center of Tazacorte, with its cobbled streets and wooden balconies, until reaching the sea and flowing into the Port of Tazacorte, where the sound of the Atlantic marks the perfect end to the journey.
