During the carnival season, Tazacorte is filled with costumes, parades, rhythm, and humor. The streets, squares, and the port become stages for parades, performances, and contests where creativity and joy spread throughout the municipality. It's a festival to enjoy with family, friends, or simply let yourself be carried away by the music and laughter.
The most magical night of the year is celebrated on the beach with bonfires, music, and wishes cast into the fire. Locals and visitors gather under the stars to welcome summer in an atmosphere of tradition and joy, with the embers illuminating the sea and the sky of Tazacorte.
The Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of sailors, receives its annual tribute with a moving maritime procession. The statue is placed on a boat and paraded through the waters of the port, accompanied by dozens of decorated boats, music, and popular fervor.
